Can my manager see what Pertch is coaching me on?
No. Pertch is a personal tool with zero team visibility. There's no manager dashboard and no shared analytics. Your coaching is yours alone, and your transcripts and summaries are visible to no one but you. The architecture is individual-first by design.
Will prospects know I'm using it?
No. Pertch runs in a separate browser tab. It listens to your meeting audio via screen share. It doesn't inject anything into the call, add watermarks, or make sounds. Your prospect sees and hears exactly what they would without Pertch running.
Does it work with my dialer or just video calls?
Pertch works with any audio source you can share in a browser tab: Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and most browser-based dialers. If you can hear the prospect through your browser, Pertch can coach you through the conversation.
What if the prompts are wrong or don't fit my style?
Every prompt has a thumbs-up/thumbs-down feedback button. Over time, Pertch learns what resonates with your selling style and adjusts. You're training your own personal coach. The more you use it, the more relevant the prompts become.
I already use Gong/Chorus. Why would I need this?
Gong and Chorus help you after the call, reviewing recordings and spotting patterns in hindsight. Pertch helps you during the call, when you can actually change the outcome. Do I need IT approval to use it?
No. Pertch is a web app: no extensions, no desktop installs. The only permission it asks for is microphone access, plus choosing the audio you share. You share your meeting audio and start. If your company blocks certain sites, you may need to whitelist pertch.app, but that's it.
What happens to my call audio?
Your call audio is never recorded or stored. It's transcribed live and discarded. The text transcript is saved privately to your account for 30 days, so you can review the call and its post-call summary, then it's permanently deleted. Your sessions are private to you: no manager or teammate can see them.
Is it distracting during calls?
Pertch is designed to be glanceable. Prompts appear as short, 1-2 sentence suggestions in a minimal interface. Most users describe it like having a sticky note appear at the right moment. You look, you absorb, you continue, typically in under 3 seconds.
